My name is Jennifer Cassita Norman, experienced Psychotherapist/Counsellor professional and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling Psychotherapists (BACP). I have been in practice as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist for over a decade and have profound experience with clients who are negotiating periods of emotional difficulty, life traumas, challenges or personal change and development.

 

I am not here to advise or diagnose, direct or lead clients, but listen with empathy, warmth and without judgement. This is a confidential relationship, focussed on the client’s needs and concerns and centred around open and honest communication. With timely psychotherapeutic interventions clients can then gain greater self-understanding and deeper self-insight and find their own unique answers as well as a personally-directed way forward.

 

I have needed support in my own life and counselling helped me through the toughest times. This organically encouraged me to train to become a therapist myself. These helpful experiences have given me the passion to create a peaceful atmosphere that embraces all of my clients’ strength and vulnerability in a safe and secure environment. 

 

My expert counselling sessions also come with an online option using platforms such as Zoom, Skype or FaceTime. 

 

With a video call or anonymous faceless connection, this service works across all time zones and is a cost effective way to access my services after your initial consultation.

This is a more difficult area of development to work on because how you react to things emotionally is not something that you can easily change. However, remember that you can improve this and gradually you can do better when it comes to not allowing your emotions to control you.

Your mental development will greatly affect your relationships, career and your education because it allows you a much better capacity for learning and knowing when to alter your reactions. Mental development is one that never ends and you never actually finish becoming a mentally stronger person.

Everyone has some social tendencies that they would like to work on and this is where social development
